The silk Artisan & Artist ACAM 306A Silk camera strap in red is the iconic flagship of the brand, developed on the basis of silk obijime, a popular, high-quality decoration for Japanese clothing. The strap stands out for its delicate beauty, unique to silk. It is carefully assembled by skilled craftsmen in Kyoto, to create a durable and skin-friendly product. The strap is made using the Kumi-himo technique, in which a special double structure is woven onto the outer layer of an eightfold cord, providing exactly the right amount of elasticity, firmness, and comfort against the skin. The flexibility of the supple silk cord allows for various shooting styles, such as wrapping it around your hand or adjusting the length by tying knots.

The white, hand-stitched reinforcement at the centre of the leather attachment point is an iconic design feature of Artisan & Artist.

In this updated model, the material of the ring for attaching to the camera has been changed from brass to stainless steel. This improves manoeuvrability and reduces the strain on your fingertips when attaching or detaching the strap from the camera. In addition, the foil-printed logo is more refined thanks to a new printing technology.

Finally, the leather of the attachment has been made smoother and the camera protection flap has been redesigned. The strap is available in two lengths; this is the longer version, suitable for diagonal wear.
