Caruba HB-23 Lens Hood

A lens hood prevents too much sunlight from entering your lens. When shooting in bright sunlight, reflections inside your lens can overexpose your photos. Backlight can also cause lens flare in your shots. A lens hood counteracts this by blocking light in the right places, without appearing in the frame itself. It also offers protection for your front lens.
