The Cokin gradual ND package U3HO-25 is a gray gradient filter package to balance the light intensity within a photo. This is especially true in situations where you don't have total control over the light, such as in high-contrast landscapes. Often in strong sunlight, the background will blur and the foreground will become too dark, causing a loss of detail. This neutral density filter cancels out the difference in light intensity, so that a balanced lighting is displayed.

The kit includes a Z121S, Z121M and Z121L filter. The Z121L filter provides a smooth gradient and 1 stops of compensation. The Z121M has the same course, but with 2 stops of compensation. The Z121S has a three-quarter gray gradient and 3 stops of compensation. To attach the filter holder to your lens, you need the Cokin adapter ring Z-Pro. This is included with this set.
