The XCD 38 mm f/2.5 lens features 9 elements in 8 groups, including 2 aspherical elements, one ED element and one custom large-diameter aspherical lens element. Thanks to the well-thought-out arrangement, the lens not only has a compact size, but light transmission is improved and chromatic aberration is better suppressed.

New Focusing Module: Fast, Light and Accurate

The updated focusing module uses a linear stepper motor and a lighter, faster lens group. These improvements ensure that the lens group has no more play and, in combination with the PDAF technology of the Hasselblad X2D 100c, the lens group can quickly reach the focus position. As a result, you enjoy fast, flexible and highly accurate focusing.

The tactile mechanism of the focus and control rings are precisely tuned for a smooth and fine experience. You switch easily between AF and MF modes through the simple push-and-pull mechanism of the focus ring, and the control ring can be adjusted for quick access to the functions you like to use.
