Ilford Ilfotec DD-X was developed to complement the Ilford black-and-white film range, particularly for DELTA PROFESSIONAL films.

Ilford Ilfotec DD-X 1 Liter is an excellent fine-grained developer that delivers full film speed. DD-X was formulated to complement the Ilford Delta assortment of films, but it's a great all-rounder. Despite the fact that it is more expensive than many other developers, popularity is huge and this is due to its excellent features. Correctly illuminated negatives developed in Ilfotec DD-X have a full range of shades, smooth transition through mid tones and clear detailed highlights. It is designed to complement the features of all Ilford films, especially the Ilford Delta Professional range. 1-liter concentrate for normal dilution 1: 4. DD-X is especially recommended for Ilford Delta 3200.
