Ilford Obscura pinhole kit

The Obscura is the perfect entry-level pinhole camera and a wonderful way to experience the magic of one of the oldest and most authentic forms of photography. The Obscura is precision-cut and shaped from expanded PVC. The camera consists of two interlocking parts: the photographic medium is placed in the lower section and then held in place by sliding the upper section into it, which locks with magnets.

The Obscura is designed for 4x5 inch film or darkroom paper and, with its focal length of 87 mm, delivers a wide-angle image. Exposure is controlled by a magnetic shutter on the front of the camera, which can be positioned in either direction, making the camera suitable for both right- and left-handed use. A tripod connection is located on the base.

The Obscura kit includes the Obscura camera, a simple exposure calculator for use without a light meter, a set of stickers, a user manual, and a lightproof box with three drawers for storing exposed material. In addition, the kit contains 10 sheets of 4x5 inch Ilford DELTA 100 Professional film and 20 sheets of 4x5 inch Ilford Multigrade RC Deluxe paper.
