The Kodak Portra 800 120 Bulk offers an improved grain structure for better scanning and printing capabilities with modern working methods. In the ISO 800/30° colour negative film category, Portra 400 is currently the film with the finest grain.

Portra 800 has a warm colour rendering (warmer compared to Portra 160). Colour saturation is also slightly higher compared to Portra 160. A major strength of this film is its excellent skin tone reproduction. It is an excellent choice for portrait and fashion photography when high sensitivity is required — or other shots where capturing motion may be important, or where only natural light is available.
