Laowa 12mm t/2.9 ZERO-D Cine lens for Arri PL

The Venus LAOWA 12mm to 2.9 ZERO-D is a beautiful wide-angle cinema lens for the Arri PL mount. Despite the wide viewing angle of 122 degrees, the lens has virtually no distortion, making it ideal for your high-quality film productions. You can easily take the lens anywhere, thanks to its compact design. It measures 87 mm in length and weighs only 675 g.

Where most wide-angle lenses give at least 2 to 4% distortion, the Venus LAOWA has practically no distortion. Therefore, also ‘ZERO-D’: Zero Distortion. In addition, it allows you to focus very closely. Already from about 18 cm (from the sensor) you have your subjects in sharp view. With the t-stop of 2.9 you create unique images with brilliant bokeh.

Thanks to the 0.8 mod gears on both the aperture and focus ring, you can use a follow focus system with this lens. The focus ring rotates by 270 degrees, for very smooth adjustments to the focus.

The 12mm lens comes with a 114mm step ring, so you can use a matte box. Thus, you keep out unwanted sunrays and lens flares. Also, with a matte box installed, your videos are free from vignetitng.
