OM SYSTEM BMF-LPC01 Body Mount Light Pollution Filter
The OM SYSTEM BMF-LPC01 Body Mount Light Pollution Filter has been specially developed for night photography and astrophotography. This body mount filter is placed inside the camera body and reduces disruptive artificial light from sources such as street and city lighting. This prevents unwanted color casts in the night sky and allows you to capture nebulae, constellations, and the Milky Way with true-to-life accuracy.
Light pollution is particularly visible low on the horizon. The BMF-LPC01 helps limit this effect, ensuring that constellations rising in the east or setting in the west are rendered with greater clarity and contrast. The result is a deeper, more natural night sky with improved color reproduction.
Because the filter is placed inside the body, you can use it with compatible OM SYSTEM and Olympus cameras without needing a separate front filter for every lens. This makes it an efficient solution for photographers using multiple M.ZUIKO DIGITAL lenses.
