Profoto B1X 500 AirTTL Location Kit
The Profoto B1X 500 AirTTL Location Kit is a set with two B1X flash heads for flash photography on location. The batteries have 50 percent more capacity than those of the B1 (up to 325 flashes at full power) and the LED lamps are 80 percent brighter. With High-Speed Sync, you use the full power range. The set also includes a battery charger, a car charger and a Profoto Backpack M to carry everything in.
The B1X has a polymer housing, an integrated 77-degree reflector, a built-in receiver for the Air Remote TTL remote controls and clearly visible controls with a display. These remote controls are available for Nikon, Canon, Sony and Olympus. You slide the optional Air Remote TTL-C, TTL-N, TTL-S or TTL-O onto the hot shoe and start shooting.
High-Speed Sync (HSS) synchronises the flash with shutter speeds shorter than the x-sync, usually 1/250 second. This lets you control the ambient light, even in bright daylight. The removable lithium-ion battery charges in 1.5 hours and has LEDs that show the remaining capacity.
