The SmallRig 5658 Cage Kit for Canon EOS C50 (Advanced Edition) offers a compact power solution for handheld shooting and provides extensive protection and versatile expansion options for your camera. The compact V-mount battery plate enables quick attachment of V-mount batteries, delivering reliable, long-lasting power for uninterrupted recording — perfect for demanding productions.
The XLR handle extension features additional mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes and mounting holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI mounting holes, and cold shoe mounts, allowing seamless integration of professional equipment. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp keeps cable connections firmly in place, preventing accidental disconnection and ensuring uninterrupted data transfer.
The cage features multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and mounting holes for attaching optional accessories such as side handles (SmallRig ID 5532) or magic arms (SmallRig ID 5308, 4900), as well as 3/8"-16 ARRI mounting holes for fitting monitor mounts (SmallRig ID 2903B) or top handles (SmallRig ID 5252, 3765). Integrated cold shoe mounts allow you to attach microphones (compatible with DJI MIC 2) or lights (SmallRig ID 4660), while the bottom QD socket supports QD shoulder straps (SmallRig ID 4118B). In addition, the built-in strap slots accommodate wrist straps or shoulder straps (SmallRig ID 4882, 5208). Thanks to these versatile mounting options, a single camera can effortlessly accommodate multiple accessories, making it ideal for customisable professional setups.
The kit also includes a wrist strap (SmallRig ID 3848) for added stability and security during handheld shooting. The magnetic dual key on the underside enables quick assembly and disassembly.
