The SmallRig 5888 Cage for DJI Osmo Action 6 (Basic Edition) is specially designed for the DJI Osmo Action 6. This fully enclosed metal cage offers robust protection against impacts whilst ensuring unobstructed access to all buttons and ports. Multiple expansion interfaces allow seamless attachment of accessories, improving shooting efficiency.

The cage features a cold shoe mount for attaching optional lights or audio accessories, such as the DJI Mic 2 or the SmallRig Video Light (SmallRig ID 5446). In addition, the cage is equipped with magnetic quick-release connectors on the side, compatible with DJI's original Dual-Direction Quick-Release Adapter Mount. The open base design provides direct access to the camera's magnetic quick-release connector, enabling fast horizontal and vertical transitions when used in combination with SmallRig's Dual-Mount Quick Release Supports (SmallRig ID 5890, 5779, 5991).

The battery compartment is directly accessible from the side without removing the cage, making it easy to swap the battery. Furthermore, an opening on the side allows you to attach the included wrist strap for added security during handheld use.

The removable quick-release mount (removable using the included hex key) retains full functionality after removal and allows direct mounting onto the camera's magnetic quick-release system.
