SmallRig HawkLock Quick Release Cage Kit for Canon EOS R5 Mark II 5029
The SmallRig HawkLock Quick Release Cage Kit for Canon EOS R5 Mark II 5029 is designed to improve stability, portability and expansion of accessories when shooting handheld. The kit includes a cage, USB-C and HDMI cable clamps and the HawkLock quick release lever.
The kit has HawkLock quick release interfaces for quick and secure mounting. It features the H21 quick release NATO rail, H18 quick release coldshoe mount, H38 Arca-Swiss quick release plate, 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, cold shoe mounts, NATO rails, QD interfaces, belt slots and more for attaching monitors, microphones, tripods, follow-focus systems, grips and other accessories to enhance video content creation in various scenarios.
The cage secures the camera in place with a single 1/4"-20 screw at the base and two positioning blocks at the sides, with built-in silicone pads to prevent scratching the camera. The built-in Arca Swiss quick-release plate allows seamless mounting on Arca-type tripods (SmallRig ID 4353, 4060) and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilisers, allowing quick transitions between stabiliser, handheld and tripod setups.
The ergonomic HawkLock quick release lever with silicone padding ensures a comfortable and stable handheld shooting experience. The HDMI & USB-C cable clamp is securely fastened with a single thumbscrew, preventing signal interruptions and ensuring stable signal transmission.
Moreover, the cage comes with a durable scratch-resistant tempered glass screen protector with a surface hardness of 9H and an IK03 impact resistance test rating.
