The Voigtländer APO-Lanthar 90mm f/4.0 Leica M-mount - Silver is a manually operated mid-telephoto lens for rangefinder cameras with an M-mount, suitable for full-frame sensors. The apochromatic design limits axial chromatic aberration, with 6 of the 8 lens elements made from glass with anomalous partial dispersion for accurate resolution and contrast reproduction.

With a length of 54,8 mm from the bayonet plane and a weight of 235 grams, you can easily take the lens with you. Thanks to its compact construction, you experience less viewfinder image vignetting when using an optical rangefinder. The lens is equipped with a rangefinder coupling mechanism, with focusing via a metal helicoid.

The minimum focusing distance is 0,5 m, which you reach by extending the linear helicoid further than the rangefinder-coupled limit of 0,7 m. At this maximum reproduction ratio of 1:3,6 (0,28x), the apochromatic design maintains image quality in the close range. When leaving the rangefinder coupling range, you feel a click that indicates this point.

The included metal lens hood extends approximately 9 mm forwards and reduces stray light, with minimal influence on the viewfinder image. With the right adapter, you can also use the lens on mirrorless system cameras with Sony E-mount, Fujifilm X-mount or Nikon Z-mount.
