The Voigtländer Color-Skopar 2.8/18 mm si is a wide-angle lens designed exclusively for Fujifilm X-mount. A maximum aperture of F2.8 is designed to keep the product's dimensions compact. The overall length of the lens is just 23.5mm from the mount, making it highly portable. With an angle of view equivalent to 28 mm in full-frame, you can enjoy it widely, from snapshots to table photos.

Designed exclusively for the Fujifilm X mount. The optics are optimised for the Fujifilm X system cameras' image sensor. This prevents distortion, light reduction and colour cast at the edges of the image without depending on the camera's optical correction function.

The electronic contact enables highly reliable electronic communication between the lens and the camera body. By combining a communication-compatible body and the latest firmware, Exif information, focus control and shooting distance-linked display are supported, as well as in-body image stabilisation for certain models.

The use of an all-metal helicoid unit machined and adjusted with a high degree of precision, and high-quality lubricants that produce moderate torque, ensure smooth focusing. Subtle focusing is possible.

Like Voigtländer lenses with VM mounts and mirrorless mounts, the lens uses an aperture ring mechanism that opens and closes the aperture instantly. The mechanism has 1/3 stop clicks so you can immediately enjoy the operating feel.

A 10-element aperture is used to bring the aperture formed by the aperture blades closer to a circular shape. Blurred areas are rendered naturally and point light sources are rendered with a soft, rounded bokeh effect.

The lens' focus ring features a lever, for easy and precise control. The approximate focus point, as set by rotation of the lever, can also be determined without looking at the distance scale.

The minimum focusing distance is 17 cm, making it ideal for tabletop photography.
